I have to confess to being an ardent fan of J.k.Rowling and her brilliant characters and the wonderful world of magic(maybe not sooo wonderful).
i just finished reading the penultimate book in her series of seven today. did i like the book? i don't know..truly..the book makes sense in a way.. but kind of really kills you too...i dont want to spell out everything that takes place or who it is that she does away with this time around...i dont know how many of you read or like harry potter but on the off-chance that there might be atleast one of you who share my fascination and salute Rowling's imagination, i'll not get into details.but for a few..
harry dates ginny...ron and hermione don't...harry is quidditch captain....theres a new minister for magic...and voldemort does not make an appearence the whole time... the half-blood prince is most intriguing, and to me, a most unsuspected person....
the events occuring in the last few chapters kill you.... i love sirius black...and rowling killing him was most unforgivable..but she did...this time around she does away with another character that makes her seem cold-hearted almost...
i truly dont love the book, a i did the third-prisoner of azkaban- but its a book as rowling says has answers. harry ron and hermione grow up.damn...i'm bursting to discuss and talk about the big things in the book....so i'm going to stop this post right here with no regards for people ignorant of the potter world.....

I dont mean to sound sexist but why do most women have this special fascination for Harry Potter? I have to admit I am not a big fan of Harry Potter and seeing the first 15 mins of the prisoner of azkaban was as much of Harry potter as I could take..
The answer to this question might also hold the answer to the question that has puzzled men for years..understanding women...but again may be not!!
Yeah! I found the book pissing off! How could the b***** do what she did!!!!! x-(
But it was tight, gripping and awesome. Even the snogging bits. lol! Though I don't know how you could let a 7 year old kid read those bits. lol
And then, if she takes three years for book 7, I'm gonna go crazy. Cuz knowing her, I doubt if the books will end with a victory of good over evil.

i have to say she's very capable of killing harry off too...and in a very disgusting way...maybe first ron and then hermione and then him...god i'd hate to be right!!!
venks...you should READ the books!!! harry potter book-to-movie version isnt as great as what peter jackson did for lord of the rings...
and it isnt harry i'm gaga over..its sirius, though he is technically a fictional charcter and a dead one at that!!
and it isnt only women rushing to read the book..it is siddhu, my brother and quite a few guys..so..thats a statement thats not valid!!
and i doubt the whole men understanding women..women understanding men issue will find resolution any time in your lifetime or mine!!

Nonsense...JKR is just a demented business tycoon sadist who wants to make money by exploiting the delicate emontional tangents of the poor teens and preteens who are 'captivated' to the stupid series...
